At this time you wish that no one suspect that it contain any important data. Making whole drive password protected or just hiding your files normally is not the solution. So I have a small trick which helps you in such situation. Though this trick is old and many of you know about it. So lets begin :

Step 1 : First choose those files which you want to hide and keep them in a folder say hidden

Step 2 : Now compress that folder in .rar or .zip folder now it becomes hidden.rar/.zip.
You can provide more security by giving password to that file.

Step 3 : Now copy any image file in the same location where hidden.rar/.zip placed.
I recommended to use .jpg file. here lets say pics.jpg

Step 4 : Open Command prompt change the location to your directory which contain both files
rar and jpg. using cd <your>

Step 5 : then type copy /b picturename.jpg + filename.rar outputfilename.jpg
here copy /b pics.jpg + hidden.rar final.jpg

Step 6 : Now you should appear a file named final.jpg. anyone open it is able to see picture only.

Step 7 : Now to get back your data you can either open that image in your archive application. or
In command prompt type ren hiddenfilename.jpg outputfilename.rar/.zip

thanks u ..

@ http://www.andhrahackers.com/forum/hacking-tut/hide-your-files-in-a-picture-(steganography)/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterSonyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08514661967280190926noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530004269088860124.post-71742143226564679732010-12-29T12:12:00.000-08:002010-12-29T12:15:47.986-08:00password pen drive free download

http://3d2f.com/tags/password/pen/drive/

http://www.magic2003.net

http://www.truecrypt.org

http://printable-cards.gotfreecards.com

Sonyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08514661967280190926noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530004269088860124.post-83817547569897410832010-12-29T11:46:00.000-08:002010-12-29T12:07:54.579-08:00Mobile Related Softwares

Diary in Mobile with password protected

Skin Editor

AVG Anti virus

http://www.getjar.com/mobile/27455/evan-mp3-player/

http://tinyurl.com/funnyface-5390

Dictonary

Dog Barking sound

Screen Saver

Sonyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08514661967280190926noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1530004269088860124.post-71082481676678167672010-06-29T05:29:00.000-07:002010-07-07T00:12:46.739-07:00Userful Sitesubantu 2 Java Developer ( Linux Commends)

Windows Shut down Times

Clip Art

Create Stunning Video

Advanced SystemCare. mean malwares, not the complicated ones.

This solution is not for ‘all’ viruses.

Many viruses infect some particular, say all exe files, these solutions are no where related to inject dll into Explorer.

Sometimes there are such registry changes that prevents you to login to your account, in that case you have to go for unconventional offline-registry change, ie, The installation of Tomcat and SqlServer is not covered.
1. Verify that you can login to the SQL Server using 'SQL Server Authentication'. You may wish to change the 'Server Authentication mode' to 'SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode'. You may also wish to check that the particular user's status of Login is 'Enabled'.
2. Verify that 'Local and remote connections' is enabled.
Go to Microsoft SQL Server 2005>Configuration Tools>SQL Server Surface Area Configuration>Remote Connections: Enable TCP/IP
3. Restart the database
4. Download and drop the JDBC driver to tomcat_home/lib. You may find tomcat-dbcp.jar in the directory. This will make the driver available to both the Tomcat internal classes and the web application.
5. Change the context.xml, for example:

<context path="/BFS2">
<resource name="jdbc/TestDB" auth="Container" type="javax.sql.DataSource" maxactive="100" maxidle="30" maxwait="10000" username="sa" password="passw0rd" driverclassname="com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver" url="jdbc:sqlserver://localhost:1433;databaseName=TestOne">
</resource>

6. Change the web.xml, for example:

<web-app version="2.5" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" schemalocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd">
<resource-ref>

DB Connection

<res-ref-name>jdbc/TestDB</res-ref-name>
<res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
<res-auth>Container</res-auth>
</resource-ref>
</web-app>

7. Write a testing JSP page like this:
<%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8" %>
<%@ page import="java.sql.*" %>
<%@ page import="javax.sql.*" %>
<%@ page import="javax.naming.*" %>

JSP example

</context>

Hello,test JNDI !

<% Context ctx = new InitialContext(); Context envctx = (Context) ctx.lookup("java:comp/env"); DataSource ds = (DataSource) envctx.lookup("jdbc/TestDB"); Connection conn=ds.getConnection(); Statement st=conn.createStatement(); String sql="select * from status"; ResultSet rs=st.executeQuery(sql); while(rs.next()) { %>
ID:<%=rs.getInt(1) %>
Value:<%=rs.getString(2) %>

<% } %>
Here is just JNDI datasource SQL Server 2005 + tomcat example
<% rs.close(); st.close(); conn.close(); %>

That's it!

Posted by Denis Wang at 12:11 PM 0 comments

Labels: DataSource, JDBC, JNDI, SQL Server 2005, Tomcat

Friday, May 9, 2008

JDBC Performance Tuning

When a JDBC call is slow, you can do a performance tuning on both the Java code side and the database server side.
Java side performance tuning:

Time your database access to have an idea whether the Java code or the database is the culprit.

Make sure you are using the right JDBC driver. Of course we can log on the Java code side. A lot of times it is still not good enough. What if the problem is from the JDBC driver? We want to see what is really going on inside a stored procedure and what exactly do the input parameters or the complicated query statement look like.

One simple approach is to insert the statement as a string into a log table. The following is an example in the syntax of SQL Server:
declare @stmt1 nvarchar(2000)
declare @stmt2 nvarchar(2000)

select @stmt1 = '...'
select @stmt2 = '...'

if ( @input is not null ) begin
select @stmt1 = @stmt1 + '...'
select @stmt2 = @stmt2 + '...';
end

select @stmt1 = @stmt1 + @stmt2
exec sp_executesql @stmt1
insert into LogTable values (@stmt1, CURRENT_TIMESTAMP)

In a conclusion, the trick is to write the statement as a string, insert it into a table before execution.

Posted by Denis Wang at 8:28 AM 0 comments

Labels: JDBC

Monday, April 21, 2008

java.lang.NullPointerException when accessing ResultSet from SQL Server

I used Java JDBC to call a SQL Server Stored Procedure and got a NullPointerException from the last line of the following innocent code below:

Technically speaking I have 1+ years of experince as a java developer, I have worked at several positions like Software Engineer, Support guy and Software Development Manager.
The primary purpose for creating this blog is to share with the world the things I face in my professional life. I will be discussing the Management Tricks that we play to get things done, how to use office politics to get things in your favor and last but not the least what type of things I come across when I am developing new modules or fixing bugs in our existing code base. So be prepared there is going to be a lot of activity on this blog for the time to come.
Note: All the names used are fictional and resemblance to any one is pure coincidence.
Kind Regards,
Fortuna
Software Developer
Reputed Software HouseSonyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08514661967280190926noreply@blogger.com0
